I’m not a mistake! It all makes sense! In a comic, you know how you can tell who the arch-villain’s going to be? He’s the exact opposite of the hero. And most times they’re friends, like you and me! Took Denis’ design and repurposed it for design studio.

Needed something simpler and although overused and cliche, a single pixel just works.

  • It all started in April 2006
  • Fresh out of the army
  • Looking for a job – decided to start my own business
  • Originally not a design studio but an internet cafe
  • Opened August 2006
  • Went to jail for a day for operating without a license
  • All was good
  • Business started to drop
  • Expenses got high
  • Closed pixelPLAY in August 2009
  • Moved locations and reopened in December 2009
  • All was good
  • A marriage, a baby, a bad partnership and a global economic crisis force pixelplay to close in March 2011
  • Had a rocky 5 year run
  • What to do?
  • Always loved web design
  • Owned weblabmedia after getting my MBA
  • Launched pixelplaystudio in August 2011 doing what I love
  • Here we are!
